This event is one of the many, organized by the CCLA, which aims to preserve and promote the Cypriot identity amongst the Cypriots in Lebanon as well as to raise awareness about Cypriot culture, heritage and traditions in Lebanon. We are a nonprofit, not political and not religious association and our door is open to Cypriots and non-Cypriots. CCLA is proud to be the only organized Cyprus Association in the Middle East. Until now, our events are not only viewed and appreciated by Cypriots but also our outings are shared and appreciated by Lebanese who express their admiration towards Cyprus, its lifestyle, hospitality and not to forget the breathtaking beaches.
Thus, our main role is the promotion of Cyprus in tourism and investments. On another hand, we share close relations with Greeks, Armenians and Lebanese.
As such, many notable people were present at the event, H.E. the Ambassador of Cyprus in Lebanon Christina Rafti along with embassy’s staff who honored us with their company. We were also very delighted to have among us members of several NGOs.
We would particularly like to thank Lina’s Café for offering us two generous gifts, Dinner at their Café, for our draw.
Thanks to the continuous dedication and passion of the CCLA committee to organize many similar events and the participation as well as support of our members and friends of Cyprus & CCLA, the spirit of Cyprus in Lebanon will always strive.
